Desperate, they look to Robin Hood to save them. But there's just one problem: The Sheriff has captured Robin Hood too! Yet there is hope! The leaders of Robin Hood's Merry Band — Friar Tuck, Maid Marian, Little John and otheres — are each gathering together a Band of Villagers to come to the rescue. Each player represents one of these bold leaders.
You have 5 days to work together and save Robin Hood before he is executed. During the first 4 days, you will work to rescue Capture Villagers. As you rescue Villagers, they join your quest and your Band of Villagers becomes stronger.
Finally, on the fifth day, you will choose your Elite Band to storm Nottingham Castle and attempt to rescue Robin Hood! The game is set in Sherwood Forest and the town of Nottingham, populated by eclectic villagers, the dastardly Guards of the Sheriff of Nottingham, and Robin Hood and his Merry Band Leaders. Rescuing Robin Hood is made up of 5 game rounds, representing the 5 days you and your fellow players have to rescue Robin Hood before he is executed. Each turn you will draw 4 cards from your deck, total up the Skills and Attributes from those cards and attempt to rescue Villagers in the first 4 rounds and Robin Hood in the final round.
Rescuing Robin Hood is a collaborative game so you will either win or lose together with your fellow players depending on whether you successfully rescue Robin Hood. This game stands out with its quality and playability. Awarded the Dice Tower Seal of Excellence—an honor given to only the top-tier board games—it’s a standout in the market.
